Our Mission 우리의 사명
A complete, accurate sourced record of K-POP written by the people who follow it closely.
K-POP moves. Groups debut, rename, split into units and disband; members leave, go solo or return. The details end up scattered across agency posts and social media posts that get deleted, translations of varying quality and wikis that stop being maintained.
KDex exists to keep that record consistent and in one place. It's built and reviewed by fans, held to standards set by community guidelines and policies.
Sourced, or it doesn't go in
Every fact on KDex points to an agency statement, broadcaster, chart body or established press outlet.
Neutral about everyone
We document groups and idols the same way regardless of size, agency or fandom.
Native names first
Hangul names sit beside every romanisation, and the official spelling wins over the popular one.
Respect for the people
Idols are working artists & real humans. We record career and documented public facts. We leave out anything private & rumours.
Anyone contributes
Fans add idols, groups, releases, pictures and more! Or they can correct what is already added..
Editors review
Every submission is checked by our moderation team for sourcing, accuracy and guidelines before it goes live.

Accepted edits appear on the article with the contributor credited and the revision kept in history.
Updates made
Readers flag errors & changes, the record improves over time.
